From November 2nd 2009, all artists managed by an MMF member and playing a Mean Fiddler Group venue in the UK (up to and including the London HMV Forum) will no longer have to pay any commission to sell merchandise at their show.
The MMF has negotiated this ground-breaking and unique deal on behalf of it's members and the artists they represent as part of an initiative to work more closely with the MFG in a number of different areas both now and in the future.
With the current exception of London's HMV Apollo (which is subject to an existing concession deal), all venues in the MFG will participate in this exciting initiative, which will be administered by the MMF. Those venues are as follows :
BORDERLINE (London)
JAZZ CAFÉ (London)
RELENTLESS GARAGE (London)
HEAVEN (London)
HMV FORUM (London)
HMV PICTUREHOUSE (Edinburgh)
THE WAREHOUSE (Aberdeen)
To help us ensure YOUR artist benefits from this new deal, please make sure you keep us up to date with your artist roster.
